How did you become a Test Man?
I applied for the job in 1995 and got it.

What’s the most rewarding part of your day?
The most rewarding part of my day is when everything operates smoothly on the test drive.

What do you have in common with the Test Man in the commercials?
My job is much more complicated than walking around and saying Can You Hear Me Now!

Which traits make you a successful Test Man?
I try to do the best I can at what I do.

What does “It’s the Network” mean to you?
It means that I’m part of the network.

Why does Verizon Wireless need to test the network every day?
To keep the quality of service that we tell our customers we provide.

What is the most unique place you have visited to test the Verizon Wireless network?
The most unique place I’ve driven is the total perimeter of Sky Harbor Airport (Phoenix, Arizona) and all the airplane docks.

How does Verizon Wireless use the data you collect?
To give our company baseline results against the results of other companies and make sure we are performing to our highest standards.

What should consumers know about the Verizon Wireless network?
That it is the best and most reliable.

What achievement/aspect of your job are you most proud of?
That I get to work with a bunch of people who are committed to keeping the quality of our network working to near perfection, just as I am.
