How did you become a Test Man?
After working on contract for Verizon Wireless in the network performance department, I knew I wanted to be a member of the team.

What’s the most rewarding part of your day?
When the day is finished and I can look back and see the progression of our quarterly tests moving forward.

What do you have in common with the Test Man in the commercials?
I really care about how well our network performs for the customers.

Which traits make you a successful Test Man?
I am basically an overachiever and self-starter - two traits that are almost a necessity as a Test Man.

What does "It's the Network" mean to you?
Giving the consumers the best network for their wireless needs is what we are all about.

Why does Verizon Wireless need to test the network every day?
To constantly make sure that our network is performing as we say it does.

What is the most unique place you have visited to test the Verizon Wireless network?
The Hawaiian islands are all a very cool place to test. Each island has its own distinctive flavor, from the forests on Kauai that are lush and green, to the ever-changing landscape on the big island where we drive through jungles, ranch land and lava fields. We also test on Molokai and Lanai where very few tourists go so you get a feel for rural Hawaiian culture.

How does Verizon Wireless use the data you collect?
The performance team uses the data to not only troubleshoot potential issues, but to help our network grow.

What should consumers know about the Verizon Wireless network?
Verizon Wireless constantly strives to provide the best service they can to their customers. From the constant growth and improvement of our network to each individual employee giving their best efforts to make sure our customers experience with our company is the best it can be.

What achievement/aspect of your job are you most proud of?
Finding new and innovative ways to utilize the information to help improve our network.
