How did you become a Test Man? I had been working in customer service technical support for two years when this job opened. It gives me another way to serve our customer base.
What’s the most rewarding part of your day? The satisfaction I get from impacting our customers’ experience with Verizon Wireless by helping improve our service. We’re better and we can say so, hands down.
What do you have in common with the Test Man in the commercials? We’re both able to report “good” news. He says “good” and our results are good.
Which traits make you a successful Test Man? Attention to detail.
What does “It’s the Network” mean to you? Our company understands that we must provide an outstanding network to maintain our industry-leading standing in customer satisfaction.
Why does Verizon Wireless need to test the network every day? Allows us to find potential network problems and correct them before our customers ever experience them.
What is the most unique place you have visited to test the Verizon Wireless network? The bell tower of Boldt’s Castle on Heart Island in the Thousand Islands Region of Upstate New York.
How does Verizon Wireless use the data you collect? It is used to help substantiate our network superiority claims.
What should consumers know about the Verizon Wireless network? It is reliable – we’ll be there when you need us.
What achievement/aspect of your job are you most proud of? I’m proud to be a member of a first class company, one that constantly strives to improve customer satisfaction levels.
