What’s the most rewarding part of your day?
Knowing that every day I contribute to the best network in the industry.

What do you have in common with the Test Man in the commercials?
We both test the network in some remote areas, making the network even stronger.

Which traits make you a successful Test Man?
Excitement to learn new and innovative ways and apply them directly to my job.

What does “It's the Network” mean to you?
Not only do we have the best wireless network in the industry, but we also have, as a company, the best human network in the industry. Verizon Wireless is a great place to work. We help each other.

Why does Verizon Wireless need to test the network every day?
To ensure the integrity of our network, so that consumers will have the best wireless experience possible—with both voice and data.

What is the most unique place you have visited to test the Verizon Wireless network?
The U.S. Route 127 North corridor from Lansing to Mt. Pleasant. I find it interesting how large our Amish community is there.

How does Verizon Wireless use the data you collect?
Verizon Wireless uses the data we collect for network maintenance. The data is used to discover new troubled areas, fix existing troubled areas, and forecast future wireless traffic to ensure we’re growing our network capacity faster than our customers need it. Verizon Wireless proactively fixes network issues before they impact our consumers.

What should consumers know about the Verizon Wireless network?
Our consumers should know that “We Never Stop Working for You” means just that. Most consumers are not aware that we work 24 hours around the clock to make sure our network outperforms the competition.

What achievement/aspect of your job are you most proud of?
Explaining to people what I do for a living and telling them that I work for Verizon Wireless.
