How did you become a Test Man?
I previously worked in network operations and cell site/switch maintenance. When a test man job opened, I applied.

What’s the most rewarding part of your day?
Knowing I am working with others to make our service the best in the business.

What do you have in common with the Test Man in the commercials?
I have a pair of those dark rimmed glasses. No really, I truly feel that as I test I have a great group of fellow employees following me to ensure we provide the best service to our customers.

Which traits make you a successful Test Man?
Network maintenance background and 20 years of military work ethic.

What does “It’s the Network” mean to you?
The behind-the-scenes operation of the Verizon Wireless network being available 24/7 to all customers. Customers deserve the best for their loyalty to Verizon Wireless.

What is the most unique place you have visited to test the Verizon Wireless network?
I tested the area in and around Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio prior and during the Bosnia Peace Talk meetings. Having spent 20 years in the military, I am aware of the commitment of our military around the world.

How does Verizon Wireless use the data you collect?
To evaluate the service we provide and ways to improve on that service.

What should consumers know about the Verizon Wireless network?
We truly care about the call quality and service they receive on a day to day basis. Our network is being tested, maintained, and upgraded continuously.

What achievement/aspect of your job are you most proud of?
The fact that I get up and go to work everyday knowing that my testing is providing a great service to not only Verizon Wireless, but to each of our customers.
